Krause-de Kloet lab receives a five-year NIH grant to continue their work on body to brain communication. This work will investigate how chronic social stress disrupts communication between the body and brain to cause high blood pressure, weight gain, and mental health disorders. These studies are to be conducted in collaboration with Dr. Guillaume de Lartigue at Monell Chemical Senses institute in Philadelphia, PA.
