Please contact us via email (adekloet@gsu.edu and ekrause@gsu.edu) if you are interested in joining the lab, as we often have open postdoctoral, undergraduate student and other (e.g., laboratory technician) positions. In addition, we are currently considering graduate students for next Fall (applications due December 1st). Please describe in your email your research background and interests and send along your CV (or resume). Also, feel free to let us know if you have any specific questions or would like any general information.

Graduate
Students
Predoctoral students typically begin in the lab by assisting with ongoing projects. This gives them an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the research currently pursued in the lab.  For their dissertation research, they are encouraged to develop independent projects that are based on mutual interests. Training plans are individualized to facilitate the Graduate Student's attainment of their career goals.

Postdoctoral
Positions
Postdoctoral researchers in the Krause-de Kloet lab follow a similar path as Graduate Students; however, additional emphasis is placed on their development of an independent line of research. Training plans are individualized to facilitate the postdoctoral researcher's attainment of their career goals.

Undergraduate Students
Undergraduates interested in gaining research experience typically begin their work in the lab through volunteer positions. This allows them to learn more about the research questions being asked and gives them the opportunity to gain experience with the techniques used in the lab. Opportunities for paid positions (e.g., Laboratory Technician) are frequently available to undergraduates as well; however, priority for these positions is often given to undergraduates with previous volunteer experience in
the lab.
